Welcome

Dear friends,

Welcome to the Pray for France 2025 campaign!

Every year, many intercessors receive promises and encouragement from God for France during our three weeks of prayer. To improve our campaign, we send out a survey to find out what areas or people groups God has placed on their hearts.

Last year, when we prayed for Unity in Christ, God did not disappoint! Many Christians came together to share the Gospel during the Olympic Games. We witnessed wonderful collaborations between local Christian associations based in France, within Europe and beyond, who united throughout different regions of France to show His love!

This year, many of you received a call from our Lord to Regenerate the areas where He has been sowing seeds in France for many years. A call to reweave broken ties and to plunge the roots of churches and Christian ministries deeper, so that His Church can be reinvigorated. Within the word regeneration there is generation, so we also see an invitation to younger Christians. One for them to confidently enter into mission, dare to take the relay baton and continue to share God’s Word. It is through your prayers and the responses from the survey that we were able to discern the theme for this year, which guides our intercession. May regeneration be fully manifested in France!

We pray that these three weeks will regenerate you too, that the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn in your intercessory heart, and that every child of God will be spiritually renewed.

Week 1: Church Renewal

  • Theme 1: French Context
  • Theme 2: The Church of France
  • Theme 3: Training and Discipleship

Week 2: Love in Action Towards our Neighbor

  • Theme 4: Love Your Neighbors

Week 3: Passing the Baton! (Re-generation)

  • Theme 5: Women, Youth, and Children
  • Theme 6: Spreading the Gospel Through Sports, Media and Culture

“He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness we might have done, but according to his mercy, through the baptism of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” Titus 3:5-6

Let France rise up to answer “YES” to our Lord’s call!

Fraternally in Christ,

The Pray for France Team

April 27 – CNEF Outlook for 2025

As we begin week 1, please join us in praying our verse of the week from Ezekiel 36:26-27:

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Our first theme of the week is FRENCH CONTEXT.

French National Council of Evangelicals (CNEF)

Location: France, including overseas territories – based in Paris

Represented by Clément Diedrichs

Current Context

The CNEF’s vision is to:

  • Unite the different denominations in France as one spiritual body, along with other ministries in various spheres. Not for the purpose of merging them but to create synergies and highlight their complementary nature.
  • Serve its members as a representative institution (specifically with government authorities) and offer them assistance in practical areas (legal, communications, project launch, etc.).
  • Inspire a missionary drive, in cooperation with other ministries, so that Christ’s call to make disciples is always in everyone’s heart.

God has used the CNEF to grow His kingdom, essentially by creating links between CNEF members who belong to the Body of Christ. As the denominations and other ministries get to know one another on a personal level, the body acts more effectively, valuing each member.

The “Regeneration” theme is perfect, because in the secularized world in which the French live, even Christians sometimes wonder whether following God day-to-day is relevant. That’s why we believe it’s essential for churches to be concrete places where people who live another life – eternal life – bear witness to the reality that following God is beneficial for them now.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

  • Writing the text “Together on Mission.”
  • An agreement was reached on the position of evangelicals with regard to their public statements, beyond their own circle.

The text “Ensemble en mission” translated “Together on Mission,” voted for by all CNEF members, gives drive and concrete form to a common dynamic for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in France. The text “Together, Committed to Society” encouraged Evangelicals not to turn in on themselves because of the “bad world” in which they find themselves, but instead be present in this very world, in all spheres, with the hope of the Gospel.

Projects in 2025

Within 5 years, we see God making the CNEF union members so intertwined that it should be impossible for them to start an evangelistic project without first talking to its sister denominations or ministries within the CNEF network. This wouldn’t be out of obligation, but out of the conviction that we are all linked to one another in the body of Christ. This will result in missional coordination as ministries within the body of Christ are valued in all their diversity and at all levels: local, translocal and even national. The CNEF Lab’ will play a role by bringing together several denominations to work together on the subject.

Prayer request

Pray that the meeting sessions on ministries, in 2025 and 2026 (CNEF Lab’), will lead churches to recognize and value the diverse ministries and pastors in their midst, so that together they will help churches give birth to disciples who will make disciples!

EMERGENCE 32

Location: Auch (32)

Represented by Xavier Dufour

Current Context

New connecting spaces for a new way of living as the Church

Over several years now, we have been observing new places where daily life takes place. Known as “tiers-lieux,” translated “third-places,” they are springing up all over France. Figuring in between the workplace and the home, they encourage encounters with others, knowledge-sharing, and the experience of “doing things together.” Accessible to all, these ‘third-places’ open up unique prospects for connection, promoting social intermingling and responding to the emerging needs of our contemporary societies.

Against this backdrop, many churches in France have created and developed spaces such as coworking zones, private offices, training rooms and themed workshops. These initiatives respond to specific needs identified in their respective areas. Motivated by the desire to serve their neighbors and have a wider social impact, Christian communities are mobilizing to create new spaces for living and connecting, rooted in Christian values.

The EMERGENCE 32 association, located in Auch (southwest France, near Toulouse), illustrates this dynamic. In September 2023, this ”third-place” center, initiated by Réseau Nouvelles Connexion (or RNC, meaning New Connections Network), opened its doors in the heart of the city’s historic center.

Since its inauguration, EMERGENCE 32 has welcomed a diverse public: individuals, professionals, young and old. The center offers themed workshops, notably on IT, social networking, and foreign languages. These activities encourage the sharing of knowledge while meeting the concrete needs of participants. The interactions that take place there help to forge links, develop professional projects, and contribute to a dynamic that fosters hope and solidarity.

In a gloomy economic climate, this place presents itself as an oasis of hope, faith and love. Many participants have also had the opportunity to discover the Christian faith, by taking part in worship services and embarking on a spiritual journey with God. This authentic encounter between the Church and individual concerns highlights the importance of opening up spaces for sincere, relational dialogue.

In addition, EMERGENCE 32 has developed momentum among Christian entrepreneurs in the city of Auch. Twice a month, professionals of different backgrounds and ages meet to exchange ideas, and encourage each other.

Driven by Christian values and the desire to embody the kingdom of God, the initiators of these projects demonstrate creativity and adaptability to meet needs on the ground. These innovative, open spaces build bridges between people, while reflecting the love and hope of the Christian faith.

Xavier Dufrour

Pasteur – Project manager – Emergence 32

Prayer requests

1. Pray that “third-places,” will emerge in new neighborhoods, touching even more lives, and that men and women will rise up to be present in these communities, bearing witness to God’s unconditional love through their hospitality and professionalism.

2. Pray that the necessary financial resources will be provided so that these “third places” will not only endure over time, but thrive and multiply, and that the people benefiting from these spaces can discover real life and be transformed by hope and faith.

April 29 – Christians and the Environment

A Rocha France

Location: National association, based in Domain Courmettes, near Nice

Represented by Rachel Calvert

Current Context

A Rocha France is a Christian environmental protection organization.

Our mission is to live out God’s call to care for His creation and empower others to do the same.

  • We raise awareness, particularly among the Christian public, to bring about changes in human behavior that will result in better care of creation (particularly in the fight against climate change and the collapse of biodiversity).
  • We work actively in the field to preserve and restore nature through scientific studies, mainly utilizing our two centers in the South of France.

As Christians committed to protecting God’s creation, we regularly have the opportunity to bear witness to what drives us: our hope in Christ.

Christians committed to climate and ecological issues can feel isolated or misunderstood, both by their environmentalist and Christian friends. Being able to connect like-minded believers, who want to respond to climate related challenges in light of their faith, can be a great encouragement.

By caring for creation in the here and now, Christians can be witnesses of how God makes all things new in Christ.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In the Baux Valley, a wetland area rich in biodiversity, we worked with local landowners and farmers to encourage ecologically-friendly practices.

We welcomed seminars, school trips and hikers to Domain Courmettes (1,480 acres), raising awareness of the beauty and fragility of creation.

We have equipped Christians to be faithful witnesses in a world in crisis. through our church presentations, meetings with local groups and our written resources

2024 was a time to solidify our network of ambassadors: 130 were people trained to help churches better understand climate and ecological challenges and act accordingly in line with their faith.

Projects in 2025

We want to help Christians in France understand and be able to explain why the Gospel is Good News for a world in ecological crisis. We plan to publish four inspiring new books in 2025, including the translation of Katharine Hayhoe’s Saving Us (being published in March).

Prayer requests

1. Pray that we may be good stewards who live consistently with the truth we proclaim: that the earth and its riches belong to the Lord (Psalm 24:1).

2. Pray for witnessing opportunities to those involved in ecological issues who do not know the Creator.

April 30 – The Regeneration of French Territories through Church Networks

Today, we being praying through Theme 2: THE CHURCH OF FRANCE.

French National Council of Evangelicals (CNEF)

Location: France, including overseas territories – based in Paris

Represented by Erwan Cloarec

Together on Mission

This prayer campaign is all about “Regeneration.” With its text Together on Mission, the members of the French National Council of Evangelicals (CNEF) recently made a landmark commitment to unite their gifts and strengths for God’s mission in France under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Together they will work towards the regeneration and multiplication of French churches.

Following what we observe in the New Testament regarding the importance of unity within churches, we know that if we want to make an impact for the Kingdom, we need to stay away from an individualistic mentality. The approach Paul uses throughout his ministry should inspire us as we seek to spread the Gospel: send, evangelize, train new disciples, plant and then strengthen new churches. As churches emerged, God would raise up new workers whom Paul would mobilize (cf. Acts 16.1-3), and the cycle would repeat.

It seems to us that new church-planting must coincide with the care and development of existing churches. Keeping this model in mind, we aspire to grow church partnerships at national and local levels. By doing so, we can live out an evangelical witness in both urban and rural areas, so that everyone can have access to the Gospel. Let’s pray for this together!

Erwan Cloarec

Chairman, CNEF

Charis FranceLocation: mainly between Lyon and Dijon

Represented by Jérémie Biancheri

Current Context

The Charis Union took form during the second half of the 20th century by American missionaries of the Grace Brethren church. Today, 9 churches and 4 church plants work together to support one another and make the Gospel accessible in areas without officially established churches. After decades of relative indifference, we’re seeing a renewed interest in spiritual matters as churches work to welcome seekers and offer to help them take the next step in their faith journey. Churches used to suffer from isolation but today, most of them work in networks to better manage resources and help each other be effective witnesses, so that the Gospel can spread more effectively.

The first generation of our church planters started 5 churches in the Saône and Loire areas where the fewest Evangelical Christians in France resided. Many people were touched by the Gospel which has created lasting impact in various training institutes. The current generation of workers is revitalizing the movement as 3 churches have been planted since 2010 and 5 new projects are underway, so we are literally seeing God regenerate us.

A young African mother with a Protestant background joins our church, discovering God’s grace and says: “I’d heard about God’s grace, and now I’ve accepted it.”

A man with a Catholic background who grew weary from searching spiritually, comes to church and accepts the Gospel. He feels “naked” before God since there are no longer clergy, rites, or sacraments keeping God at a distance. Jesus has accomplished everything and the man discovers his new responsibility to live a life of trust in God.

May God continue to regenerate us!

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

  • Implemented a process of multiplying disciples in our churches to support new believers as they take the next step in their journey: from discovering the Gospel to taking living out their faith. We have been able to shepherd 200 new believers between 2023-2024.
  • Launched a program to place new pastors into ministry with the churches in Lyon. There are now 5 new pastors in training.
  • Began a holistic outreach ministry in a low-income neighborhood in Lyon. A team from the Villeurbanne church organizes sports, leisure and cultural activities to revitalize the neighborhood. Around 100 families are in contact with brothers and sisters in the church and 60. children take part in the “Horizon Camp,” where they can discover Jesus Christ.

Projects in 2025

We want to make more disciples in 2025. By 2030, we hope to train 10 new pastors for Charis Union or wherever there is need in order to support new and existing local churches.

Prayer request

Pray that our churches will make enthusiastic, radiant disciples of Jesus Christ so that the Gospel touches new lives.

May 1 – The Local Church

La Brie Church

Location: “La Brie” (Melun, South-East of Paris)

Represented by Jeannie Brosseau

Current Context

La Brie Church was born out of a desire to reach out to native French people who hate organized religion and churches in general, which is a common attitude to encounter in modern France. Our mission is inspired by Acts 15:19: ”We should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God.” We’re constantly thinking about ways to remove the barriers that prevent our friends from hearing the Gospel message. We create fun and accessible activities that are relevant to those we are reaching. In France, churches are often perceived as outdated and incomprehensible. Our desire is to be a loving and open community so that anyone who visits can begin to experience God’s love, meet Him and love the church anew.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Families and youth are at the heart of our project. Since Covid-19, we have seen many 15-25 year olds come to church, serve one another and grow with God. They love the church, and are proud to talk about it to those around them, and boldly invite their friends. This is quite unheard of in a French context! Here are a few stories from 2024:

  • Xabi grew up in the church because his grandparents prepared and baptized him. It’s a generational reproduction of faith which God calls us to.
  • For the first time, our group of middle-school students is led by a 22-year-old named Lucie. Her entire team is made up of young people aged 16-20, who have themselves come to faith via our church. We see God calling to Himself the next generation of leaders to take care of the future ones.
  • During our summer camps, 14-year-old Noa gave her life to God and asked to be baptized. Her parents are atheists, but her older brother Roman, who converted a few years ago, opened the way for faith in this family! Today, Roman facilitates our high schoolers’ program and brings his girlfriend to our celebrations. God touches those around us!

A difficult event at the end of 2024 was the sudden departure of the senior pastor and his wife. Staff members have not been discouraged and continue to love and serve the community and host events. We see God at work. It’s his Church and He’s not letting it down. He’s constantly regenerating it for His glory, because He has a heart for the French, even though they are so far from Him!

Projects in 2025

2025 is a pivotal year for our church, with many challenges ahead as the founding couple will also be leaving us. We don’t want to be destabilized and are aware of our magnificent mission opportunity here in the Paris region! We will continue to strengthen our community and invest in the next generation of leaders. We need help, finances, wisdom and new team members!

Prayer topics

1. Pray for this transition: may God lead us and meet our needs!

2. Pray for the community, the new generation of leaders and believers.

Lyon SOS Church

Location: Lyon

Represented by Matt Marvane

Current Context

Planted in 2019 by Matt and Sarah Marvane, the Lyon SOS Church is a church for those who don’t go to church. Everything is designed to enable as many people as possible to simply hear the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus. Using the Book of Acts as our model, today, around 400 people come together every Sunday!

Our main actions enable :

  • Welcoming those who don’t go to church; we now have 2 worship gatherings each week to welcome as many people as possible.
  • Walking alongside newcomers to the faith: over 110 people have been baptized since the early days of the church and have benefited from individual follow-ups after baptism.
  • Discipleship- we host open Bible studies every Thursday evening as well as weekly life groups.

Irvin, who came from an atheist family, gave his life to Jesus in the early days of the church. Today, together with his wife and their 2 children, they are pillars of the church, following new paths of faith, and passionately serving the Lord.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024 we saw God at work like never before through :

  • Welcoming 1,000 people to our 4 Christmas services where many souls accepted the true message of Christmas!
  • Multiplication: establishing a second service, adding 65 people to our service team, creating 6 new life groups, and training 5 new people to walk shepherd new believers.
  • A new structure for the church with the establishment of elders, deacons and ministry leaders to ensure a healthy local body of believers.
  • Church unity in prayer and worship: monthly prayer meetings are a must, and the whole church is eager to take part. All of our battles are fought on our knees in prayer and with our eyes fixed on Jesus with faith.

Projects in 2025

We want to be a church ready to welcome the multitude! Our vision is to welcome 1,000 people by 2030! We believe that God wants to entrust many souls to our care, not because we are worthy, but because He is able. We trust that His heart is for all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, will be fulfilled here in Lyon. (1 Timothy 2:4)

Prayer request

Pray that our local church can acquire its own space to establish itself in the community and welcome the multitudes. After an exceptional fund-raising campaign to purchase and renovate a building, a refusal from the local authorities pushed us in a new direction.

Bridge at dawn

May 2 – Revitalization and Regeneration of Churches

Alpha Course

Location: National presence in France, based in Paris

Represented by Véronique de Corberon

Current Context

Over the past 24 years, 300,000 people in France have encountered the Christian faith through Alpha courses. In 2023, 1,300 courses were organized, including 300 for young people under 18 years old and over 200 courses for couples.

The theme “Regeneration” shows how we must always renew ourselves to reach people where they are. Today’s couples are not the same as yesterday’s, and the same goes for GenZ youth, who are more open and curious than the previous generation. We need to learn their language, their needs and expectations. The Good News doesn’t change, but we need to adapt the way we communicate it, bring it to life and pass it on.

“I came to the course because I need to know what I’m going to do in my life, and how I want to do it. If I wanted to invite a friend, I’d say: Come as you are, with everything you have, your questions, your concerns, what you think you don’t know, what you do know.Diane, 26 years old

“The themes helped me find a way to respond to church regulars, I learned to ask them questions rather than give them answers. The course has helped me in my ministry.

Actions and results achieved in 2024

  • Reached out to young people wherever they were and led a major event in January 2024 hosting 250 new believers and non-Christians
  • Served those who are in deserted areas: far away, isolated or suffering from loneliness.
  • Revised and updated our training tools and increased training coverage

The testimonies are as powerful and touching as ever! Course attendees tell us how much their lives have been transformed during an Alpha class, course leaders express their enthusiasm at seeing fellowship develop within their church community and priests/pastors discover the joy of collaborating with secular people while seeing the impact of courses as the demand for baptisms increases.

In 2024, our financial stability was challenged, but we worked hard and the Lord sent us donors we never expected! We can see how much the Lord is on our side and how fruitful the courses are for both the churches and the course attendees.

An increase of 15% in the number of courses, including 30% for family courses demonstrates the immense spiritual thirst in France. Unfortunately this need doesn’t always cause people to turn to the Church (75% of 18-35 year olds believe in esotericism – IFOP 2022 survey). The mission of the Alpha courses is precisely to help churches revitalize themselves and reach out to those who are lost.

Projects in 2025

We believe that the Lord is calling us to help the Church go beyond its walls, to listen to the world, to allow everyone to feel welcomed unconditionally and to experience a fraternal and convivial church community. We serve the Church that must transform and regenerate itself.

Prayer requests

1. Pray for more volunteers to get involved in Alpha course teams.

2. Pray that the national team will find the means and the words to better help these local teams grow and reach out to people who are far from the faith. The French are thirsty for God and need a safe and welcoming opportunity to meet Him. May the Alpha courses be a gateway to help them discover God’s love and tenderness through Jesus.

May 3 – Theological Training

Today, we enter Theme 3: TRAINING AND DISCIPLESHIP.

Geneva Bible Institute (IBG)

Location: Geneva, French-Swiss border

Represented by David Niblack

Current Context

The Institut Biblique de Genève exists to offer Gospel-centered training that combines theory and practice in the service of local churches. Although we are based in Switzerland, most of our students come from France and work in France after completing their training. The Institute’s core program lasts a year where students study the Bible, live in community and engage in various practical projects in the region. After the first year, students can continue in the diploma program with a three-year internship in a church or ministry, either on a pastoral track or on a transcultural mission path.

We have seen God through the changes in the lives of the students who spend a year here. Many speak of their time as before IBG and after IBG, when they have more zeal for God’s glory, more love for His Church and a clear growth in their likeness to Jesus. Every year, the trainees testify to the fruit they see in their places of training: in the conversions resulting from the discovery courses, the preaching that touches hearts and the Bible-reading sessions pairing seasoned and newer believers.

The theme for our Easter conference is “Alive! From Shadow to Light.” This echoes the theme of the prayer guide: God has not simply reformed us, He has regenerated us by giving us new life in Christ. We pray that the young people present will be deeply touched and encouraged by this reality.

Two years ago, a student approached us asking to join the program. We hesitated to accept him after examining his file since he had lived a life of addiction (hard drugs, alcohol) but had recently converted and was involved in a church. After we decided to accept him, he made a lot of progress during the year and, today, he takes on responsibilities in the church and testifies with great courage to his family!

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Our main activity is the training of Christians to equip them for various services for the glory of Christ.

Projects in 2025

-We are launching a new training course for elders and pastors.

-The “Alive” youth conference will take place at Easter, with the aim of proclaiming the gospel and strengthening the hundreds of young participants.

-We want to continue to see Christians transformed through Gospel-centered training to serve and bless the Church in France.

Prayer request

Pray for God’s extraordinary work through messages, praise music and new friendships at the Easter conference, which will bring together a thousand young people.

Village Mountains

Faculty of Evangelical Theology (FLTE)

Location: Vaux-sur-Seine (78)

Represented by Christophe Paya

Current Context

FLTE trains and equips leaders. Located in the Paris area, it is in direct contact with a large number of French and French-speaking churches and ministries. The Faculty’s programs take into account the diversity of ministries, partnering with and nurturing the development of the French and Francophone Evangelical movement, helping churches to structure themselves and train their leaders.

Many pastors and Christian leaders have passed through FLTE and are now involved in planting new churches, developing various ministries and teaching Christians.

Going beyond training Christian leaders, the ultimate aim of FLTE is to contribute to the proclamation of the Gospel in France.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024, we reformed our Bachelor’s and Master’s programs to make them better adapted to the needs of today’s churches and the new generation of leaders. We have also strengthened our distance learning courses, reinforced our teaching team and increased the number of students.

Projects in 2025

We pray that the Lord will enable us to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the strengthening of the French Evangelical movement, through the training of competent leaders in church planting and church revitalization.

Prayer request

Pray for the renovation and expansion of our campus, which will take a decisive step forward in 2025 with the construction of a new building to meet our needs.

May 4 – Discipleship and Christian Professional Networks

Christian Jurists & Lawyers of France (Advocates France, Juristes & Chrétiens)

Location: National, based in Paris

Represented by Nancy Lefevre

Current Context

Christian Jurists & Lawyers of France (Advocates France, Juristes & Chrétiens or AFJC) is a network of Christian lawyers in France. Our aim is that each Christian law student and practitioner (lawyers, in-house counsel, legal professionals, notaries, etc.):

  • Is encouraged and supported in their Christian faith within the context of their profession related to justice.
  • Will be a light and bear witness to Christ wherever they are.
  • Will support and serve the Church, through their legal vocation.

Concretely, AFJC has enabled its members to stand firm in their faith amid the difficulties of their profession:

  • Many young people have discovered their professional paths by listening to what God has for them.
  • There has been an emergence of a network of lawyers who can assist churches and Christians with legal difficulties or disputes.
  • Professionals have better understood that their call for justice must resonate with their call as Christians. Many have testified to the benefits of the Advocates France network in terms of feeling supported and understood.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Weekend conferences for lawyers and students, local sharing and prayer groups, studies on current issues (bioethics, freedom of religion, secularism)

AFJC celebrated its 20th anniversary. At our national meeting in Paris in November 2024, we saw God’s faithfulness through the addition of 40 jurists to the group. The Paris area group welcomes between 10 and 15 jurists every 2 months and our network is becoming better known in Christian circles.

We believe that we must constantly let ourselves be regenerated by the Holy Spirit to seek God’s way and what He wants for us. We also believe that we have an impact to make in our generation and in supporting the future generation of Christian lawyers.

Projects in 2025

In 2025, God will continue to gather Christian jurists, to strengthen us as He prepares us for important calling. Our vision is that by 2030, AFJC will consist of a group of Christian jurists capable of impacting France, its laws, and its court decisions to honor His kingdom.

This year, we hope to bring together more than 60 Christian lawyers with an event in Paris and reach out to more students and young professionals who want to see and use their legal profession as a gift from God for His service.

In the coming years, we aim to strengthen Christian legal professionals and students to be witnesses for Christ in and through their profession, to foster vocations and new leaders, and to provide the association with sustainable financial and human resources.

Prayer requests

1. Pray for Christian lawyers and law students in France, and for our team: for a clear and regenerated vision and for the proper use of the means at our disposal.

2. Pray for an efficient and committed member base with good time management skills, since we are all volunteer professionals.

  • Visits to Evangelical churches to help them share the Gospel with the Jewish people and show how the Messiah is present in Jewish festivals.

Our activities take place mainly in Paris, but also in Southern France, Switzerland and Belgium. We have organized dinners, open-air concerts, a camp for children and teenagers, testimonies from Holocaust survivors, and Hebrew language courses, among other events.

In addition to our missionary activities, we organized a Christian youth camp called Camp Guilgal for young Jewish children; meetings called Zikaron Basalon, featuring testimonies from Holocaust survivors; and religious services in partnership with a Paris synagogue called Kol Nidré. This is a huge step forward in our acceptance by and relationship with the Jewish world in France.

A young Israeli woman called Gisèle (name changed) gave her life to the Lord Jesus about a month ago at our Paris office.

Dov (name changed), a young Israeli who has lived in France for many years, gave his life to the Lord a few months ago. He is now preparing for his baptism.

Projects in 2025

A multiplication of souls saved, resulting particularly from the development of our digital ministries

Prayer requests

1. Pray that we can cope with the many unusual health problems affecting our team members and their spouses. This is the priority prayer topic for us as it continues to hinder our missionary activities.

2. Pray that God will continue to provide for our finances.

University Bible Groups (Groupe Bibliques Universitaires – GBU)

Location: Major cities across France

Represented by Lyès Chalah

Current Context

GBU effectively leverages the intellectual environment of French universities to bring the Bible, and through it the Gospel message, to students. The association’s approach is based on several key initiatives, such as :

  • Forum Veritas: These conference-debates bring together Christian and non-Christian speakers on topical issues, encouraging constructive exchanges.
  • Discussions Around the Bible (DAB): led by Christian students, these sessions are open to all and aim to explore biblical texts in an accessible way.
  • “Next Question” publications: This series of writings addresses topics relevant to students, whether or not they are believers, offering answers to common questions.
  • Discussions Around the Bible and the Coran (DABC): These groups are an essential tool for facilitating interfaith dialogue with Muslim students.

Regeneration within the GBUs takes several forms:

  • Constant improvement of evangelization approaches: GBU continually adapts their events and projects to meet the current needs of students in the field.
  • Team evolution: GBU team members are equipped to keep pace with the changing expectations of the student population.
  • Unique interactions: Every encounter with students, whether one-on-one or in a group, offers an opportunity for regeneration and spiritual growth. This dynamic approach enables GBU to maintain their mission to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples on university campuses.

These two testimonials illustrate the positive impact of Discussions Around the Bible and the Koran (DABC) on Muslim students:

  • Aboubakar (Guinea Conakry) attended DABC in Paris for over two years. He particularly enjoyed the book of Isaiah, and the discussions motivated him to buy and read the Bible.
  • Ishfaq (Pakistan) attended a discussion on the theme of salvation. He was deeply touched by Jesus, sent by God for the salvation of mankind. He has since decided to join a Discussion Around the Bible (DAB) group.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

  • Theoretical training sessions, practical workshops and apologetics sessions, followed by a public seminar on “Jesus in the Bible and the Koran.”
  • A number of discussions on the Bible and the Koran, with some groups meeting in person and others on Zoom. The latest meeting was on the theme of “The Annunciation of the Birth of Jesus,” which brought together several Christian and Muslim participants from all over France.
  • The creation of a booklet containing five discussions on the Bible and the Koran, showing God’s plan of salvation for mankind from Genesis to the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Projects in 2025

  • Publishing the DABC booklet and making it available to various GBUs, as well as to churches in the future to promote interfaith dialogue
  • A training manual on witnessing among Muslims to be made available to GBUs and church youth groups
  • Setting up new discussion groups on the Bible and the Koran, particularly in major cities such as Paris and Strasbourg

Prayer requests

  1. Pray for the development of DABC groups in France and in Europe.
  2. Pray for new partners who can pray for and support the ministry, and help move forward with research and writing projects.

May 6 – People in Personal Distress

CAP – Centre d’Accueil et d’Accompagnement Psychologique (Welcome and Psychological Support Center)

Location: Brest (29)

Represented by Prisca Robitzer

Current Context

CAP works for social justice in Brest. We aim to meet psychological and personal care by anyone in need, without financial or administrative obstacles. We are available to listen and provide psychological consultations to anyone in need. We also host weekly food banks and accept clothing donations.

Our staff consists of professionals trained to provide psychological help, listen and meet material needs. They primarily meet with disadvantaged people; women who are victims or in precarious situations, students, foreigners and those looking for a listening ear. CAP is located in an area that is particularly affected by people struggling with addiction, violence and idleness. It is against this backdrop that CAP aims to be a place of respite and security. Each counselling session is an opportunity to bring light to a darkness that binds and to lift the veil to restore truth and love. We are delighted when people are freed to pursue their own life trajectory, after they find support.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Last year, in particular, CAP developed its solidarity network and saw an increase in the number of requests for psychological consultations. Its visibility and collaborations are growing, as opportunities arise and new contacts are made.

At the heart of our mission, inner regeneration is the key: renewal of people at their deepest core, including their thought patterns, behaviors and habits of life. CAP participates in restorative justice, as well as returning peace to hurting hearts and bodies. In love, all things become new and are brought back to life.

Close to retirement, D. was crushed under the burden of occultic practices and non biblical sacrifices. Today, she is reconnecting with life, gentleness and enjoying inner rest.

Another story is of A., a young foreign student, who now lives free from the destructive and abusive relationships of her youth. Reconciled with her past, she heals from trauma and learns the joys of being loved as well as to listen to herself.

Projects in 2025

In 2025, our work is set to expand through therapeutic listening and journaling workshops and courses for foreigners. We would like CAP to become a commonly recommended reference site within 5 years.

Prayer requests

We pray that love will be a defense against violence, and that CAP welcomes new professionals and volunteers. Finally, we hope to reach out more widely to those in need.

May 7 – The Homeless

Homeless Evangelical Mission (Mission Évangélique parmi les Sans-Logis – MESL)

Location: Paris (75)

Represented by Gilles Boucomont

Current Context

The Homeless Evangelical Mission (Mission Évangélique parmi les Sans-Logis – MESL) has brought together Christians of both Protestant and Evangelical denominations to serve the most needy. Open year round, even on public holidays, it serves close to 90,000 hot meals a year, gives 800 people a postal address, offers lockers, and organizes doctor or podiatrist visits in addition to other services.

MESL’s motto “LA PAROLE ET LE PAIN” (the Word and the Bread) makes reference to how it ministers by feeding both the soul and the body. Making a Bible study and worship time with food distribution available to those excluded from society shows how all can be included in the Kingdom of God.

More generally, this work is known in the street community as a haven of peace where distributions are conflict-free because the Prince of Peace is seen at work.

Regeneration: hope for the homeless

Titus 3:5-6, speaks of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit, highlighting a fundamental message of the Gospel: salvation does not rest on our works, but on divine mercy. This message is particularly relevant when we consider the reality of homeless people, faced with marginalization, suffering and abandonment. The regeneration offered by Jesus Christ not only transforms individuals from within, through faith, but also touches the concrete needs of their daily lives, enabling them to become more integrated, whether through work, a better relational network or the overcoming of self-destructive habits that many of them deal with.

The growing reality of homelessness

In France today, the number of people living on the streets is continually on the rise. Faced with this reality, we can feel overwhelmed. The Gospel is a source of hope for all, including those who seem most lost and those seeking help. It endows Christians with a capacity for compassion that surpasses human norms. Through this compassion, believers are called to become the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Helping the homeless doesn’t just mean providing them with a roof over their heads or a meal. It also means bringing them a message of hope, showing them that they are loved and precious in God’s eyes, in the eyes of “the one who didn’t even have a stone to lay his head on” (as Jesus is described in the Gospels).

We are all in need of God’s mercy and regeneration. This truth urges us to reach out to those in need, not out of duty, but out of gratitude for what we have received. In a world where social challenges seem insurmountable, the Gospel offers a hopeful response.

S. is a volunteer from Mauritius. A former Hindu, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and was baptized in a church near MESL. She came to know the Lord through MESL and serves Him by serving the poorest. She went from an unhealthy marriage relationship keeping her in bondage to freedom in Jesus Christ.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We work with homeless people and those in very precarious situations. In 2024, we finally rolled out a “Street Bible”, a project we had worked on with the French Bible Society. We now have a tool for reaching those on the streets, able to offer them a weather-proof and easy to read Bible with specially adapted resources.

The number of people we feed continues to grow. Our permanent staff of 4 are joined by 60 dedicated volunteers). We have started a DETOX group, which offers a Bible study focused on the possibility of liberation from addictions.

Projects in 2025

2025 marks our 60th anniversary. While we long for a day when both homelessness disappears and our ministry is no longer needed, we want to continue to better combine the care of bodies with the care of souls by offering both physical and spiritual nourishment as long as we can. LA PAROLE ET LE PAIN !

Prayer topics

1. Pray that the scandal of there being 100,000 vacant homes in Paris, and 7,000 homeless on the streets, will be remedied by courageous public policy.

2. Pray that Christians will no longer see the homeless as objects of compassion, but as brothers and sisters, some already in Christ, and others soon to be.

May 8 – Refugees and Migrants

Center of Reconciliation (Centre de la Réconciliation)

Location: Lille (59)

Represented by Christian de La Roque

Current Context

Under the slogan “Helping the Unsupported,” the Center of Reconciliation is currently active in the following areas:

  • Supporting close to 200 minors each year from abroad who are in the process of having their status recognized by the government, but find themselves on the streets without any support like administrative assistance, access to healthcare; schooling or housing.
  • Providing overnight shelter for homeless women with children or pregnant women (around 100 a year), with the help of a group of 18 Christian students.
  • Opening and stocking a second-hand clothing store.

Several refugees (Christian youth or women with children) have joined churches in the city and are now continuing their life with the Lord. We have seen several young people, in particular, strengthen their faith and progress in their Christian walk, despite the hardships they have been through. We are also recognized in a neighborhood that has a high proportion of Muslims as a center that welcomes both Christians and Muslims.

As far as the “Regeneration” theme, we are constantly seeking to strengthen the link between our social actions and being witnesses to the Gospel. Among other things to that end, we have revised our by-laws and fundamental documents which will also be made available to all those who wish to join us.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024, we increased enrollment from 60 students to 85 in our academic refresher school for minors. It is our goal to teach and equip minors as quickly as possible so they are at less risk of being captured by nefarious networks.

A former missionary who spent 20 years in Africa was recruited as coordinator of the accommodation (for around 40 minors) in a shared habitat that includes a flat-share of around ten Christian students. This will enable us to build more cohesive relationships in line with our values.

Projects in 2025

In 2025, we’re going to start a shelter for homeless under-age girls in a house, initially under a rental agreement. We’re going to start this project as soon as possible, and hope to purchase the house in the next 3 years.

Prayer topics

1. Pray for our witness to the Gospel among those we welcome and those who help us.

2. Pray for the youth host coordinator and all the staff at the Center of Reconciliation.

3. Pray for the start-up of this shelter for girls.

May 9 – Prisoners

Gospel Action Production

Location: France & Africa, based in Eure-et-Loir (28)

Represented by Yannis Gautier

Current Context

Yannis Gautier and his team are determined to bring God’s love to prisons, places often forgotten by society. They firmly believe that no one is beyond redemption and that every individual deserves to hear the message of God’s love. Through regular prison visits, they share the message of hope and transformation.

Gospel Action Production firmly believes that God will continue to open doors in order to reach those in prison. This conviction encourages us to move forward with determination, knowing that our work is not in vain. Despite some advances, financial challenges remain considerable. Every mission, whether online or in person, requires significant resources. We ended the year with budgetary constraints that require us to redouble our faith and perseverance. Your support, whether through prayer or partnerships, is crucial to the continuation of this work.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

This year, we intensified our efforts to bring the Gospel to people often forgotten: those in prison. A landmark mission took place in Kinshasa, Congo, where we reached thousands of inmates, meeting some of their essential needs. We were able to distribute bibles, food, clothing and medicine. That day, a powerful spiritual transformation took place as all of the inmates who gathered in the courtyard gave their lives to Jesus! Unfortunately, the tense atmosphere and overcrowding means that danger is always present. Just two weeks after our visit, a tragic riot broke out, killing over 133 people. This tragedy highlights the urgent need for both spiritual and social action to provide hope and lasting solutions

We also organized an exceptional concert in Paris, in one of the capital’s most prestigious venues, to raise public awareness of prison realities and promote our evangelization actions. This event reached hundreds of participants and strengthened support for our cause. God also opened unexpected media doors as Yannis had the opportunity to appear on TPMP (C8) and RTL, two national platforms, to share his testimony and draw attention to the challenges facing those in the prison system.

To extend our reach, we’ve launched a completely free website and app. These digital tools offer podcasts, books and training to spiritually accompany thousands of people.

Projects in 2025

Our priorities for 2025 are :

  • Strengthen our digital tools (training, podcasts, applications)
  • Develop collaborations with churches for evangelistic events
  • Support and train chaplains, so that they can be even more effective in their missions
  • Amplify our humanitarian actions in prisons to meet the spiritual and practical needs of inmates

Prayer Topic

Pray that our financial resources will multiply so that we can continue to develop our activities!

May 10 – Victims of Human Trafficking

Alliance de l’Espérance (“Alliance of Hope”)

Location: Lyon (69)

Represented by Bernadette Bike Medjo

Current Context

Alliance de l’Espérance operates mainly out of Lyon and has been fighting human trafficking and sex trafficking for more than 10 years. We offer support to anyone trapped in prostitution as well. Almost all of those we serve arrived in France via organized crime syndicates and are seeking asylum. Once a month, from 8pm-10:30 pm, we take our “Mobil’Hope” truck onto the streets of Lyon to provide these ladies with tea, coffee, cakes and other non-perishable food. We take the time to inform them of their rights as well as supply them with personal hygiene materials and HIV or hepatitis tests.

This initial contact enables us to get to know them and we can invite them to our office for a follow-up and more personal meeting focused on their specific situation. Our office is open every Friday from 2pm -4:30 p.m., in a location made available by an association we have a contract with. We also offer psychological, social, administrative and spiritual support during these meetings.

We facilitate referrals to other social or care agencies and can be reached by telephone every day. We find that conversations over the phone are a simple and effective way to keep in touch and establish a relationship of trust over time. Many of the people we work with have become very cautious after being betrayed, manipulated or threatened. We try to remain in constant contact with them throughout the entire support process.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024, we took part in training courses to deepen our knowledge on the laws governing foreign nationals in order to provide them with the support they need. We have also successfully helped several women find accommodations and regain their social status as well as helping others return to their home countries. of origin.

During the Olympic Games, we partnered with Porteurs d’Espoir (Bearers of Hope) to raise awareness among transgender people. During the Olympic Games in Lyon, we teamed with the associations “27 million” and “El Pozo de Vida” to edit a film raising awareness about prostitution.

The “Regeneration” theme for the 2025 prayer campaign has inspired us to want to go further and deepen the actions within our ministry. It made us realize that we must first be regenerated and transformed in our knowledge and vision as Christian before we go out to help others, knowing that the harvest is great.

Our ministry has witnessed numerous transformed lives, including that of our current president, Bernadette Bike Medjo, who left prostitution in 2013. Over the past decade, women like Doris, Grâce, and Patience have also found pathways out of exploitation

“Lord, we thank you for this year’s prayer campaign for the nations. Father, may it please you to answer all of our prayers according to your perfect will and for your glory. Amen.

Projects in 2025

  • Continuing training in trauma care
  • Raising awareness among churches about human trafficking and the link with pornography
  • Train the team on secondary trauma and how to prevent it
  • Introduction of APP (Analysis of Professional Practices) and ATP (Accompanying Traumatised People)

Prayer request

Pray that the Lord will grant us clarity and direction as we work to realize our vision for the Alliance: to build a place of welcome and support for women who wish to leave prostitution within the next 5 years.

Hope & Joy

Geographical locations: Montpellier, Alès, Nîmes Avignon, Narbonne, Béziers Perpignan and La Jonquera, Spain.
Represented by Éric Sanchez

Current context

The Hope & Joy Association supports those trapped in prostitution or at risk of becoming prostitutes. Many women are victims of human trafficking for sexual exploitation and those we meet are the “survivors.” After enduring a difficult immigratory journey, they are emotionally broken, are forced into prostitution and experience great isolation, violence and guilt. We dedicate ourselves to continuous outreach, day and night, building relationships and offering unwavering support. Our ministry focuses on restoring their self-esteem and helping them accept the truth that they are loved by God.

Over the past 10 years, we have reached out to hundreds of women from Nigeria, Guinea, Romania, France and Spain, helping them to reconcile with God. We have also distributed several hundred Bibles in all languages.

Since the end of the pandemic, we have gained access to 5 prostitution clubs on the France/ Spain border, reaching several hundred women. We are able to facilitate times of praise, sharing and preaching the Word of God in 2 of these clubs!

For the past 3 years in Montpellier, a Hope & Joy prevention team spends every Monday evening distributing crêpes to teens as a means to facilitate discussions on the dangers of being solicited through social networks. Unfortunately many financially promising yet misleading classified ads circulating on social media are often disguises for prostitution networks. This weekly outreach opportunity also allows us to speak into topics like pornography, escort ads and sugar daddies.

We want to impact this generation, save lives and expose lies, while affirming God’s true values about love, sexuality and His plan of salvation in Jesus Christ.

I used to feel like a mistake on earth. I thought God couldn’t love me. Hope & Joy told me that my life is precious to God and that He loves me unconditionally. I grasped His hand and His love. I’m now free in my heart!”

“That night I had decided to throw myself under a truck. My life was hopeless in my eyes. The Hope & Joy team came by. In their eyes I saw love, their outstretched hand, and I grabbed it.”

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We drove to where the need is, using small vans transformed into “mobile churches” to provide comfort, food, drink, clothing, information, protection and God’s love. Our association is made up of some forty volunteers trained in post-trauma listening and pastoral care.

Projects in 2025

We would like to extend our network even further, into Marseille and Toulouse, so that no one who is forced into prostitution is forgotten.

Prayer Topics

Pray that God be seen in France where there is an increasing amount of people rejecting Him. Pray that Hope & Joy may shine in the midst of this darkness of all forms of abuse.

May 11 – Women

Now, we are passing the baton! (Re-generation)

As we begin WEEK 3, here is our verse of the week: Psalms 78:5-7
“He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.”

Theme 5: WOMEN, YOUTH AND CHILDREN

Agape For Women

Location: Based in Rennes (35) and reaching all French-speaking areas

Represented by Laurie Chiron

Current Context

We desire to strengthen, structure and grow Agape For Women so that all women in France have the opportunity to discover, live and share the Good News of Jesus, that lives will be changed, and that France and the world will be transformed.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We have produced several videos for Christian women to help them bear witness in their daily lives, on topics such as: how to be a witness, how to invite a friend to an evangelistic event and how to follow up after an evangelistic event. We’ve facilitated several small group Bible studies on the book of James between women from different churches. Some of these groups are still meeting regularly. We’ve also created a committee of women from several churches in order to create a Christmas event.

  • Meetings for women

We gathered leaders of women’s groups from different churches at the local level (city of Rennes and surrounding area), with the aim of creating connections and building bridges between churches. It is a time for these leaders to pray together, exchange knowledge and share tools to make women’s groups more effective.

  • Advent tea

Last year, over 80 women, a third of whom were non-Christians, gathered for an afternoon of Christmas-themed activities. We’re hosting this evangelistic event again in 2025, with the hopes that 110 women can attend! Our vision is to encourage Christian women to take the step of inviting their friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. to spend a lovely moment together (tea, cakes, decorations…) and hear the Gospel.

Our actions embody how our heart is to make Jesus known in France. so that we can help every woman, wherever she may be, to discover, live and share the Gospel.. For example, we’ve created tools for a small group bible study, with a booklet filled with tips for those leading a bible study group for the first time! We pray to see lives changed, as women apply what they learn in the Word and share it with others.

Through our small groups and with our tools, we want to equip women to trust in the Lord and learn to live out their faith every day, letting themselves be transformed and sharing their faith with others.

Chantal dared to accept the call to lead a small online bible study, and she gained confidence in the Lord as she joyfully watched Him use her to encourage other women in their faith.

Thanks to the encouragement and prayer Myriam received from her small group, she decided to make and give baked treats to her friends as a way to invite them to church at Christmas.

Projects in 2025

We want to develop a network of women who share tools and participate in outreach events together. We want to share the Gospel and see souls come to Christ.

Prayer requests

1. Pray that the Lord will send us more laborers for the harvest, especially team members to work with us.

2. Pray that God will lead us, show us our direction for the future and that souls will come to Christ.

FemmEsprit

Location: Paris (75) and French-speaking areas

Represented by Médhie Marinette

Current context

FemmEsprit is a ministry aimed primarily at women, but open to men upon request. Our purpose is to edify, equip and prepare people who wish to live out their destiny in Christ. We accomplish our mission through annual programs and events such as :

  • Ongoing member activities: Bible studies and times of fasting & prayer
  • EPSM: 18 classes to prepare or strengthen Christian marriages
  • Workshops and a conference

We primarily work with pentecostal and charismatic Christians because Bible studies in these churches are often not as deep or structured as in other denominations. Our group has helped women become mature Christians anchored in the Word. Our EPSM program has strengthened marriages, preparing young women for marriage according to biblical standards not the world’s. Many husbands and fiancés have thanked us. As a result of our EPSM programs, women desire to know the Lord even more than they desire marriage. There are abundant testimonies of transformation following our events.

The prosperity gospel does a lot of damage as it produces an erroneous link between God’s blessings and a believer’s faith, which weakens their faith in the face of adversity. Regeneration evokes inner transformation, the renewal of thoughts leading to a spiritual awakening that anchors us in God’s Word, while being ready to endure everything for His sake.

A young man, after leaving our recent conference, shared his desire to grow spiritually and lead his future family in faith.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We have 50 women who have participated in our programs. After a 5 year hiatus, we reorganized our conference, and welcomed 180 people (mainly women, but men were allowed to attend for the first time)!

Maintaining our programs and organizing a conference became difficult when our Instagram page, with 14,000 followers, was deactivated after being hacked. It was a miracle that we could continue since most of our communication is digital and we were without support.

Projects in 2025

We will pursue greater depth in the Word and prayer for the FemmEsprit team and the community. In 5 years’ time, we aim to have reached a greater depth in God’s Word and to organize events in the French-speaking world, mainly French-speaking Africa and Canada.

Prayer Topics

1. Pray for a love of the Word and renewed prayer life. Pray that we will not be forgetful listeners but people who put the Word into practice.

2. Pray for men and women to experience a personal awakening and to be the light of the world in France.

May 12 – Families and Neighborhoods

Grain de Blé France

Location: National, based in Nogent-sur-Marne (94)

Represented by Laurent Virlogeux

Current Context

Grain de Blé (Grain of Wheat) is an association that has been working with young people in France for 65 years. Our slogan “Every Child Counts” captures our vision for children to come to know Jesus and become ambassadors for Christ. To achieve this, we support churches by offering them a range of tools and programs: camps, clubs, large-scale family festivals in local neighborhoods and various artistic projects. Our aim is to train churches and support them through these projects, so they understand the importance of fullying shepherding children.

Over our history, we have seen God’s faithfulness as we accompany many children and their families. Seeing children transformed and choosing to place Jesus at the center of their lives is extraordinary. The many testimonies attest that God has always been at work, even in difficult times.

In any ministry, there are times of challenge and trial. Our organization has gone through difficult times, particularly at an international level, yet despite these difficulties, we have experienced times of forgiveness, restoration and regeneration.

A young girl was dealing with depression when she attended an art camp that we hosted. She tried to cover her unhappiness with laughter, but as soon as she was alone, her sadness returned. During an evening of testimonies, she began crying because she could no longer hide her pain. Another young woman prayed for her, without knowing the reason for her tears. The young girl felt a great peace and commented that it was as if someone had taken away her burden. She was so happy to feel the peace that God can give!

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Our main activities are organizing sleep-away camps for young people aged 6 to 17, hosting evangelization events in local neighborhoods, forming clubs, arranging inter-youth meetings on specific themes (harassment, pornography, etc.) and providing services for families.

2024 was special since France hosted the Olympics. We were delighted to be able to see the relevance of our Festival model as we helped many churches to implement it, creating a fun and interactive environment for their communities.

Projects in 2025

We believe that God will continue to use us to reach even more children. Our vision is to expand what God has entrusted to us by working hand-in-hand with additional partners as we see God leading us more and more to work with new ministries and churches.

Prayer Request

Pray that everything we do will bear the imprint of Christ, that we can recruit more volunteers through our various activities and that our actions will inspire more children to learn about and follow Christ.

Les Porteurs d’Espoir (Bearers of Hope)

Location: Paris (75)

Represented by Elisabet Dominguez

Current Context

Les Porteurs d’Espoir (Bearers of Hope) is a mercy ministry, working for a future where the most vulnerable have access to a new life in Christ. Many families arrive in France full of certain hopes, such as wanting to offer their children a better future, but reality hits them hard. More than 3 million children live below the poverty line and face uncertainty, rejection and isolation on a daily basis.

The annual figures for children in danger are alarming:

  • 1 in 3 children is vulnerable to psychological disorders
  • 1 in 8 children is a victim of bullying
  • 160,000 children suffer sexual violence
  • 7,000 -10,000 minors are victims of human trafficking
  • Nearly 10% of prostitution victims are minors.

Due to a lack of self-esteem, these young people perceive no future for themselves. Many fall victim to predators becoming trapped in a cycle of abuse and despair. For over 20 years, Les Porteurs d’Espoir has been representing the Gospel in tangible ways, focusing on the most vulnerable people: children and victims of human trafficking. We accompany each and every person through a life-changing transformation.

This year we celebrated our 20th anniversary and rejoiced as we saw what God has done. Thousands of people have heard the Gospel message, and the seed of the Word is sprouting. This year we are reunited with young people who were impacted over 10 years ago! We recognize that God is still at work in the hearts of the young and old. Our collaboration with the city’s churches has helped many children and young people discover their calling, and seeing them now serve God is encouraging. In 2017, the association’s persistent work led to the establishment of a church in the 17tth arrondissement of Paris, a model we believe will multiply. We are IN the city FOR the city. God is paving the way and using many faithful workers to reach the unreached like transgender people and those who are sexually exploited.

This year, we are developing the program Potentiel et Réussite (Potential & Success), aimed at helping 15-25 year olds discover their true identity in Christ and support them in their career plans.

Les Porteurs d’Espoir is inspired by an encounter in Mark 2:1-12, where a group of friends bring their paralytic friend to Jesus. They overcome obstacles so that, at the feet of Jesus, their friend receives full restoration: spiritual, physical and social. Our vision is to see lives transformed and regenerated, moving from a life without hope to a future full of promise.

Arriving from the Congo at the age of 9, Fanny lived in a dingy hotel when our ministry first visited her. Years later, as an adult, even as she found herself lost in relationships without a future, she remembered that God could help her. So 13 years after first meeting Les Porteurs d’Espoir’ she decided to contact us again. Touched by the Holy Spirit, she reconnected with the BIble and decided to put her life in order before God and commit to following Jesus, becoming a bearer of hope herself.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

  • Food distribution: All year round, we respond to the basic needs of families and individuals who are victims of human trafficking by offering food packs and hygiene products.
  • Christmas for all: At Christmas, we put on a Christmas show that brings parents and children together, and we give every child a present.
  • Time for a break: For victims of human trafficking, we provide a day set aside for meditation and self-discovery with the Bible.

Projects in 2025

Les Porteurs d’Espoir is multiplying in the city. The young people who we have supported are rising up today, transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and sharing the Gospel in action and truth to the most vulnerable around them. We aspire to give birth to two additional teams of our ministry in other neighborhoods as sources of hope, In the city FOR the city. Onward! “And this we will do, if God permits.” Hebrews 6:3

Prayer requests

1. Pray for workers to join us in our mission field with a renewed leadership team.

2. Pray for the seeds planted in people’s hearts to bear fruit and for collaboration between churches and ministries to gain momentum and develop with discernment and divine wisdom.

May 13 – Young People

C-PROACTIF – Youth

Location: Paris region (75)

Represented by Anne-Marie Husson

Current Context

C-PROACTIF is a ministry dedicated to discipleship training for those in a professional atmosphere in France and other French-speaking areas in Europe and Africa. Working with churches, we provide training courses on professional commitment in a way that honors one’s faith and work-setting. TRAJECTOIRE (TRAJECTORY), is the principal project in our “C-PROACTIF-Youth” division and provides a specific program aimed at church youth. TRAJECTOIRE consists of 4 two-hour sessions aimed at the next generation, those about to enter the job market. SInce they face many challenges, we need to equip them, as disciples of Christ, to be able to discern their life mission (in the Church and/or in society) and make educational and professional choices that will enable them to fulfill that mission.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Since its creation in 2017, C-PROACTIF has been involved in supporting churches to help equip Christians in their various secular professions. To achieve this, we’ve developed a variety of discipleship resources and strategies, and formed many discipleship groups. Several hundred participants have benefited from our training courses, seminars and web conferences. Thanks to this ministry, their understanding of being on mission in the workplace has broadened, and they now see themselves as full-time servants of God in their professional lives. Although students and young professionals were not our initial focus, recognizing their immense needs, we developed TRAJECTOIRE to equip them.

In 2024, approximately one hundred young people representing five churches across various denominations piloted TRAJECTOIRE. This program was formatted in a unique way, highlighting three complementary approaches: a theological approach to provide a biblical understanding of work, a psychological approach to help them recognize their God given talents and gifts, and a practical approach to guide them in asking key questions about their academic and professional futures.

The mission of today’s Church is being carried out in an environment filled with challenges: overwhelming societal changes, transformations in society, numerous conflicts, economic, ethical and climatic crises, technological revolutions and more. Since the new generation will be confronted with these issues likely throughout their lifetime, as servants of the Lord, we must equip and arm them to face whatever may come !

  • “TRAJECTOIRE has been a real blessing; it has helped me put words to the biblical meaning of work and share my professional adventure with Jesus as co-pilot of my professional life.Thomas
  • This journey helped them (students) put Christ back at the center of their school and professional projects. A further step towards full dedication.Karin

Projects in 2025

We are currently working on making TRAJECTOIRE available to more churches with the hope that 5 new churches will be able to implement it in 2025. We pray that it will be so well known that it will become a must-have tool for all youth groups in French-speaking churches to adopt, within 5 years.

Prayer request

Pray that TRAJECTOIRE will be received as a blessing by pastors and youth group leaders and implemented in order to help the younger generation enter into their calling. May it help them view their professional vocations as authentic calls from God and enable a group of disciples to be present in all aspects of society. May TRAJECTOIRE become a foundation for the new generation of French Christians to build upon.

Agape Campus

Location: Lyon (69) and other French cities

Represented by Aaron Robinson and Noëlla Oudin

Current context

Agape Campus encourages Christian students to live out their faith and share it so that their peers can also discover Jesus. We are present in several cities in France (Lyon, Rennes, Paris, Montpellier, Toulouse, Corte, Marseille), with team members and students working on their campuses to help others discover, live for and share their faith in Jesus.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Agape Campus conferences resumed in 2024. The “Enraciné” (“Rooted”) conference took place in October in Montpellier and provided a wonderful opportunity for students and team members from different cities to get together, meditate on the Word, pray together and encourage each other. We hope and pray to repeat this experience in 2025 with even more students and continue to strengthen bonds while encouraging these young people to grow in their faith and be bold witnesses to the Gospel.

In the midst of a generation of students marked by anxiety, disillusionment about the future and a loss of spiritual bearings, we pray that God will raise up student witnesses to the Gospel, rooted in His Word and love and renewed by His Spirit to shine in the midst of this chaos. We rejoice in seeing God at work in the lives of students like Anastasia*.

Anastasia* is a student from a Christian family who attended Christian summer camps as a teenager. She joined our movement in September, 2023, participating in a Bible study group where God deepened her understanding of the Gospel in her own life. It’s wonderful to see the Holy Spirit strengthening her faith and giving her the confidence to do more than she had thought possible with God’s help. Today, she’s involved with Agape Campus in a variety of ways, including faithfully welcoming new members, leading evenings for 40 students, co-leading a small Bible study group and sharing her faith with a half-skeptical, half-curious friend. What a joy it is to see God’s work concretely in the young people of this generation!

*Name changed

The podcast, “Nos 2 Centimes” (Our 2 Cents) continues to grow as students listen to conversations that help them live out their relationships with others to the glory of God.

Projects in 2025

Following the success of previous trips, we’re once again inviting believing or spiritually curious students the chance to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain this summer. It will be a week centered around slowing down, embracing silence, meditating on the Bible and worshipping along the way.

Prayer requests

1. Pray that God will raise up new young people to make a full-time commitment to serve, either for short-term or long-term ministry.

2. Pray that our team members will be strengthened to accompany students in their journey of discipleship and evangelism.

Youth Center – La Frégate (The Frigate)

Location: Saint-Lunaire, Brittany

Represented by Jean-Marc Bogetto

Current context

La Frégate is a retreat center located in Brittany, 1.5km from the beach. We offer refreshing stays for all generations, led by dynamic, qualified teams. We provide opportunities to discover the coastline and local cultural heritage sites in addition to sports and artistic activities. Sailing has also been a staple activity of La Frégate since it was founded in 1967. Our programs are accessible to all, without discrimination, and the prices are adjusted to fit the needs of the family. We promote our Christian values through Bible-discovery workshops but also organize an alternative activity for those who are not yet believers. We are registered as a general non-profit association, utilizing volunteer work for the management of our stays.

For nearly 60 years, we’ve seen the Lord at work in lives, transforming them for His glory. La Frégate has seen the emergence of numerous pastoral vocations, significant decisions of commitment to Christ and turning from wrong living, and the birth of significant relationships. Even local churches in France have benefited from our center as some of our youth leaders become pastors, elders or deacons! Many young people also testify about La Frégate’s impact on their lives when they are baptized.

The theme “Regeneration” is at the heart of La Frégate’s purpose: we were established to be a place of restoration, edification, and sharing. Whether it’s time to recharge your batteries or make a fresh start, La Frégate is a place where generations cross paths, passing on knowledge in many different ways, but always in a spirit of brotherhood and kindness.

Lydia* has attended La Frégate since childhood. Born into a non-Christian family in great difficulty, she was placed with a Christian foster family who accompanied her on many occasions to La Frégate. The Lord has transformed Lydia. who is training at a Bible institute and will become a missionary. (*Name changed)

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We provide enriching experiences for young people through camps, Bible training, fellowship, and sports. These programs benefit children (ages 6 and up), teenagers, young adults, as well as families and seniors

In 2024, La Frégate was in use for 207 days of the year. During this time, nearly 50,000 meals were served, and 400 volunteers were involved in running the approximately 20 trips organized by our center, as well as church weekends, training courses, group visits, etc. We are planning to renovate some parts of our buildings, and since we secured a building permit in 2024, construction can begin this year.

Projects in 2025

We want to continue to faithfully shine our light, offering times of training and rejuvenation in an inviting setting. Over the next 5 years, we are committed to reinforcing our infrastructure and increasing the number of year-round volunteers, so that we can continue to offer the best atmosphere possible. In 2025, the major construction project at La Frégate will begin.

Prayer requests

1. Pray for year-round volunteers, people who commit to giving 6 months, 9 months or a year to come and serve at La Frégate and for financial support, which is often a challenge.

2. Pray for fruit in the lives of those who visit in 2025: that a new generation will rise up, trained and enthusiastic to serve in the French-speaking world, and pray for wisdom in our projects and the success of our operations.

May 14 – Children

Établissement Scolaire Privé Daniel (Daniel Private School)

Location: Guebwiller, Alsace

Represented by Véronique Haberey

Current Context

Établissement Scolaire Privé Daniel is an evangelical Protestant Christian school located in Alsace, close to Germany and Switzerland. It is one of 40 evangelical schools in France. Similar to our peers, we are entirely self-funded (no public funding) and see educating children as our primary mission. France is a country where secularism itself is worshipped, particularly in schools, and where God has no place in the public sphere. We believe that it is vital to educate our children in the truth, passing on academic knowledge while linking it to the One who is the Creator of all things. We want to equip our children for tomorrow’s world, so that they can make an impact on a world that is ignorant of, and even hostile to, God.

We’ve witnessed remarkable transformations in the lives of our students and their families, leading to positive and lasting change as many of our former students have gone on to become missionaries, pastors or leaders of Christian ministries. Some even send their own children to our school, because they recognize the importance of the values that were passed on to them and that are lived out within the school itself. Though the results of our dedicated teachers’ work (true missionaries with no guaranteed salary) are not always immediately evident, we have seen an abundance of fruit over many years.

It is essential to play an active part in regenerating the souls of children, the citizens of tomorrow, because they are the ones who will be able to impact our world and bring hope to a very bleak future. A coherent unification of academic and theological education is the basis for profound regeneration.

One student in particular had been entrusted to us several years ago in a situation that had reached desperation. He had been expelled from several schools because of his unacceptable behavior. While he had agreed to try our school, he was insolent and unbearable every time we spoke of God or faith. His teachers stood firm and showed him love despite his combative behavior, and today he is a highly regarded pastor in France, who often testifies to our school’s impact on him and his subsequent conversion.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We teach children ages 3-18 in an educational setting that aims for academic excellence, but above all the knowledge of God while fostering a spirit of service.

The increasingly deplorable state of education in France (lack of teachers and resources) and the ever-increasing intrusion of secular values into public schools (false spirituality, gender theory, etc.) mean that enrollment requests have dramatically increased but unfortunately there isn’t enough room to accept everyone.

Projects in 2025

We pray for the multiplication of Christian schools and are convinced that this movement is underway.

Prayer Requests

Pray that the right conditions will be in place for these schools to multiply: funding for their operation, suitable facilities, and teachers who are deeply rooted in the Word and have the necessary qualifications. Above all, pray for an awareness in Christians that the education of their children must be linked to the Word and not to the values of the enemy.

La Maison de Zoé (Zoe’s House – private school)

Location: Marseille (13)

Represented by Ludovic Alcaraz

Current Context

The legal association of this shuttered school still exists with the president, treasurer and a few members who continue to serve, but must hold a general meeting to determine next steps to. We have until September 2025 to reopen our facility.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

The school was mothballed because the premises had not complied with safety requirements and the rent was too high. For several years we had tried to move to a different space but without success. At present, the school is inactive, our team has been dissolved due to lack of finances and we no longer have a location. For the moment we are waiting for a clear direction from God.

Projects in 2025

We would like to re-open the school between Aix and Marseille, because we are convinced that God desires to have more Christian establishments in this populous area that has yet to be touched meaningfully by Christian education.

Prayer requests

Pray that God will direct us in His precise Plan and that we will find a location prepared in advance, families ready to take the plunge and that we will be able to establish a budget that will enable us to get started and pay the team that will participate. As for French Christian schools, we should pray that they will be supported by churches or businesses and that they will be truly recognized and covered by the prayers and intercessions of the French churches.

May God raise up the people He has prepared for this country to challenge the government, and may there be profound changes in our society, which is truly in darkness.

May 15 – Through Sport

We are beginning to pray through our 6th theme: SPREADING THE GOSPEL THROUGH SPORTS, MEDIA AND CULTURE.

Sport et Foi (“Sports & Faith”)

Location: Rhône-Alpes

Represented by Couly Dieng

Current Context

Sport et Foi Rhône-Alpes is a branch of Sport et Foi France. Our vision is to see those who love sports also love God. We are part of the Go+ France coalition of evangelical churches and charities.

We coordinate four regional sports groups in Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Valence and Grenoble, cities with populations of between 130,000- 1.4 million. Our mission is to organize events with church youth, include local clubs, host “Make Sports Your Ministry” missionary teams and train Christian athletes.

We’ve assisted young Christians in soccer training centers by using friendly matches as opportunities to share the Gospel. We’ve also supported refugees through sports, sharing the Gospel and offering them community assistance. Additionally, we encouraged church sports clubs to use sports as a means of discipleship.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We toured the Rhône-Alpes region with Ensemble 2024 to encourage churches to organize projects for the Olympic Games. We celebrated the 10th anniversary of Sport and Faith: Rhône-Alpes, where the mayor of a local neighborhood heard the Gospel for the first time and requested a signed/dedicated New Testament copy. To coincide with the Paralympics, we focused on raising disability awareness within churches.

We’ve seen growing church support for the vision of using sports to share the Gospel. We’ve built strong relationships with clubs and local groups. What’s more, our prayers for ministry servants in the sports world have been answered, and we’re grateful for the addition of new leaders. In Grenoble, for example, under the leadership of Philippe Pinto, close to 60 people meet every week and share their testimonies, including 20 non-believers, and around 20 people referred to us by local churches.

Sport et Foi is an essential link in the chain of a church’s various outreach activities. We have helped many non-believers discover a new life in Christ and our initiatives have enabled many Christians to give new meaning to their lives.

One mom told us about her daughter, Elia, a very athletic girl who wanted nothing to do with church. However, after attending one of our multi-sport tournaments, she connected with a church youth group. A few months later, Elia was baptized and even met her future husband within the church community.

Projects in 2025

We began moving the headquarters of Sport and Faith from Rhône-Alpes to Lyon to support the development of a sports ministry there, as we did in Grenoble. We’re keen to find solutions for professional athletes, especially young athletes, whose schedules don’t always allow them to attend church. We would like to train and accompany the athletes in our groups with the Stadium book, which contains 24 Bible studies and a guide to helping a teammate discover Jesus.

Prayer requests

1. Pray that hundreds of athletes come to Christ in the next 3 years.

2. Pray that church leaders will embrace this vision of sports ministry so others will be equipped and sent to serve in this ministry.

3. Pray that we will be able to recruit several people dedicated to the world of sports, which touches over 70% of the general population.

Issy-les-Moulineaux Evangelical Armenian Church youth group

Location: Issy-les-Moulineaux (92)

Represented by Joël Mikaelian and Alphée Liadzé

Current Context

Our church’s youth group meets every Friday evening. We begin with a time of worship, led by our young people, then the pastor or a guest shares a message from God’s Word and we close with a time of fellowship. We also organize special events, including outreach opportunities in our town.

Actions taken and results in 2024

A central activity in 2024 was a sports evangelism event during the Olympics, hosted in partnership with the city. The event was aimed at local and regional amateur athletes and consisted of a tournament featuring multiple sports, the screening of the film Chariots of Fire and a worship service open to all.

Through this event and our organization, we saw God touch souls and transform hearts. We distributed Gospels tracts specially prepared for the athletes at the Olympics. Most of the athletes in attendance were not Christians, but they received the Word of God and heard the Good News. We were able to pray for several people, some of whom were positively impacted. We maintained a stand throughout the day, where missionaries were available to answer questions about God and share their testimonies of their lives in Christ. At the end of the day, we held an outdoor service in the neighborhood sports complex. Young people prepared the service, we offered praise to God, and all were able to utilize their talents in God’s service, touching lives and furthering His Kingdom in our city.

This year, our main achievement was the growth of our group through new members. Young people in our neighborhood are being reached and receiving the Word of God every week through our organization. We’re striving to host more outreach opportunities including street evangelism events like our “street cafés,” and we’ve also distributed food to the homeless in the city.

The theme of this year’s campaign, “Regeneration,” speaks volumes for our organization, as we are noticing an inner renewal among our young people. A revival is taking place, young people are being transformed and getting involved. Our vision is for young people to go further in their relationship with God, to take risks to grow in their faith.

Many lives have been transformed through our ministry. One person in particular, was living far from God, lost and looking for happiness. She met Jesus, made a commitment to God, gave her life to Christ, renouncing her old life. Now, she uses her singing talent in God’s service, leading times of praise and worship

Projects in 2025

In 2025, we have a vision that God will continue to transform lives. We want to reach more people, be open to others, and share our faith with those in France. Our vision for the next five years includes group growth, street outreach, and God’s confirmation of His Word through signs and wonders.

Prayer request

Pray that hearts will be ready to receive Christ’s love. May people be renewed in their faith and prayer life.

Holistic Sports

Location: Mainly in Rennes (35), Mulhouse (68), Toulouse (31), Bordeaux (33), Paris region, Montpellier (34)

Represented by Joël Thibault

Current Context

Holistic Sports France is a ministry dedicated to serving sports professionals and semi-professionals (top-level athletes, coaches, PE teachers, etc.). Its mission is to reach those in the French-speaking sports world, through three key objectives:

  • the development of sports chaplaincy in French clubs and at major sporting events
  • the spiritual care and support of top athletes through listening, mentoring, Bible studies etc.
  • sharing our Christian faith through the creation of relevant resources (books, podcasts, videos) and the organization of conferences on sports and spirituality

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024, over 4,000 middle and high school students heard about Jesus through conferences held in private schools, and 2,500 accepted a special “Eternal Victory” sports New Testament. Concretely we’ve facilitated:

  • 5 weekly Bible study groups for top athletes in Toulouse, Mulhouse, Rennes, Angers, Montpellier either in person or online
  • A Gospel discovery and faith-building group
  • A Mentoring group
  •  We’ve launched two groups for up-and-coming athletes

We also organized close to 50 Bible studies with top athletes. We witnessed 4 of our members become part of the chaplaincy team for the Paris 2024 Games (Olympic and Paralympic) and we were able to support new athletes from France and abroad.

We produced 6 programs focused on “the Olympic dream”:

  • 3 programs on career management
  • 3 programs on abuse in sports (sexual, authority and spiritual)

Our main goal is to see athletes regenerated by the Holy Spirit as they listen to the Gospel. We’re motivated to achieve this goal through weekly one-on-one meetings and small-group Bible-sharing sessions.

A professional female athlete contacted us through our new holistic sports website. She had heard about us when one of her club teammates was featured on our podcast, Décrassages.* We helped her discover the Christian faith, and after several months of discussions, she placed her trust in Christ and was baptized. We then connected her with a local church, which she joined. (*décrassage means both “warm-down” in a sports context and “clean-up / stripping away” more generally).

Projects in 2025

  • Increase our presence on podcast platforms with Décrassages, the only French podcast devoted to sports and spirituality!
  • Multiply the leaders who will take the 30-hour training course given by our international chaplain, Joël Thibault, in partnership with a theological institute in France (ITRC) in order to make disciples in the world of sports., Participation in this course began February 2025. The course will then be available for replay on the ITRC website starting in August.
  • Sports discipleship training with the Rouen evangelical churches in March 2025
  • Test level 1 of the online sports discipleship pathway beginning September 2025

Prayer requests

1. Pray for the preparation of discipleship resources in 2025, for an official launch in 2026, for an exponential impact until 2030 and the organization of a spiritual retreat and training time for top-level athletes in the summer of 2025.

2. Pray for the recording of Décrassages podcast programs and the impact of the testimonies of Christian athletes.

3. Pray for the preparation of a documentary on the Christian faith in top athletes and the recruitment and training of new leaders in order to multiply disciples in sports.

May 16 – On the Radio

Médias Ebène

Location: Based in Pontarlier, primarily reaching French-speaking Africa

Represented by Emmanuel Ziehli

Current context

We formed with the merging of Radio Réveil en France and Radios Ebène Développement. We engage in multiple activities related to media and technology in French-speaking regions. These activities include radio broadcasting, education and training in media-related skills and the repair/installation of FM radios in French-speaking Africa. We’ve created the Forum des Médias Chrétiens d’Afrique Francophone (FOMECAF), bringing together more than 180 African Christian media outlets, all united in a desire to act through “integral radio,” advocating a holistic gospel via the media. FOMECAF covers 13 countries in French-speaking Africa, particularly hard- hit by the recent upsurge in violence.

Médias Ébène concentrates its efforts in French-speaking regions worldwide. Notably, in Africa, we operate radio stations even in areas controlled by armed groups promoting intolerant Islamic ideologies. These stations survive by God’s grace and act as beacons of peace and peaceful coexistence, broadcasting the Gospel, whenever possible in Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo and North Cameroon, to name a few. Despite facing attacks and closures, there are many who stand strong, sometimes inexplicably. More generally, the worrying geopolitical situation in the sub-Saharan region and the persecution of Christians are major concerns. In 2023, 95% of Christians killed worldwide were in Africa.

We have made great strides in the media and new technologies, particularly in the integration of artificial intelligence into all of our media sector but our work is not intended to replace leaders, journalists and technicians in the African media. Our contributions support the existing media infrastructure, but with an emphasis on transferring knowledge and sending technical equipment to those in need. Our aim to reshape media is inline with the theme of “Regeneration.”

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We organized 2 technical training seminars and 2 media seminars in Togo and Benin for 100 tech specialists. Around a dozen FOMECAF leaders met for a week.

Projects in 2025

  • Strengthening the Christian media network in French-speaking Africa
  • Delivery of a large stock of technical equipment for media use
  • Several holistic gospel trainings in regions affected by violence

Prayer requests

1. Pray for an end to violence, especially the persecution of Christians in Africa, and for the spreading of the Good News of the Kingdom of God via radio, including in jihadist zones.

2. Pray for the unity of African media outlets to address violence, migration, and health issues, while also strengthening our ministry in France with youth involvement.

PHARE FM (“Lighthouse FM radio

Location: France

Represented by Caroline Greder

Current context

PHARE FM is a family-oriented radio station that provides companionship to listeners seeking meaning, values, and hope. It offers a continuous stream of contemporary Christian music, along with short educational and/or spiritual programs, accessible via FM, DAB+, and the internet. Everything is presented in an accessible language and in a professional manner, within a context of a completely de-Christianized society. Parole du Jour (Word of the Day) is the French version of the daily meditations written by Bob and Debby Gass, distributed free of charge in booklet form and online.

PHARE FM has operated since 1989 and has steadily expanded its broadcasting area from a small local station to a nationwide station with an audience reach of 20 million people. While initially the audience was mainly Christian, today, our program is deliberately aimed at all French people, especially families, in search of meaning and values, many of whom are far from the Church. PHARE FM can be seen as an evangelization or pre-evangelization tool which serves the French Church.

The theme “Regeneration” echoes our vision at PHARE FM: “Changing lives through the power of God’s Word.” Everything we do aims to provide love, faith and hope in order to bring about a profound transformation of hearts in search of meaning.

“Some time ago, I suffered severe burn-out. My situation seemed hopeless. I was totally exhausted and felt like it was just going to end. I even thought about suicide. But PHARE FM encouraged me and gave me the strength I lacked in those moments to hold on and not give up.” Marie-Laure

” I’m a drug addict and it is difficult for me to concentrate on praying. I’ve been listening to your radio for a year and a half now, and it’s true that every day is a breath of fresh air. It all started by chance. I was flipping through the channels when I heard the song “Dieu s’intéresse à vous” (God cares about you).” Philippe.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024, PHARE FM reached a historic audience of 2 million listeners, mainly in France, but also across 139 countries! During the 2024 Olympics in Paris, we organized a week of live broadcasts from Paris including interviews with Christian athletes, segments highlighting various evangelistic actions in the Paris region. We also distributed 30,000 Word of the Day brochures.

Projects in 2025

We will begin broadcasting in 5 new local zones (Evreux, Chartres, Laval, Belfort-Montbéliard, Montélimar) and in the whole of Alsace. Over the next 5 years, we hope to see the size of our audience approach that of other influential radio stations, enabling us to reach more French people with a thirst for God.

Prayer requests

Pray that PHARE FM will offer an ever more relevant and impactful program to lead the French towards God and help them find their way towards local churches full of life.

May 17 – Through Writing and Graphic Arts

BLF Éditions (Bible and Francophone Literature Editions)

Location: Marpent (59)

Represented by Tim Kyle

Current Context

We continue to grow at BLF Éditions. We’ve welcomed new members to our team and we’ve taken the online ministry TPSG (ToutPourSaGloire.com – All For His Glory) under our wing, which is now a branch of BLF Éditions.

Our aim is to help French-speaking people nurture their passion for God by distributing excellent Gospel-centered books. We are available to set up book stands to display our literature at the request of a church or individual. One of our team members organized a stand at a Christmas party and was approached by a non-Christian woman and her school-age son. Her son had just asked her to explain why Jesus had died but she didn’t know how to answer. Thanks to the advice of the volunteer running the stand, she left happy, with a copy of, The Garden, The Veil and The Cross, one of our children’s books on the subject. We thank God for the ever-increasing number of Christian books available in all formats in France and throughout the French-speaking world.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

We now have a multi-format online bookshop that distributes paper books, ebooks, audiobooks and used books, so anyone in the world can access it.

We’ve developed our own app to read ebooks and audiobooks, which enables us to serve the wider French-speaking world. S, a woman in her 30s who discovered her faith through online research, is participating in a discovery group. She shared her enthusiasm for the BLF Books app, stating, ‘It’s so good! I received 24 free books and have already read two. I’m going to keep reading them.”

In February, we organized a week highlighting new French-speaking authors and it was a very rich and impactful time. We can clearly see how God is inspiring these Christian authors to write books that are relevant to society today. Our team’s experience with these 6 authors was a blessed time for fellowship and the sharing of BLF’s publishing values.

Our evangelical ministry was a primary focus in 2024. We produced 3 resources written in French geared toward young readers and those at the beginning of (or having not yet started) their faith journey. The easily accessible, narrative-based overview of the Bible, La plus belle de toutes les histoires (The Most Beautiful Story Ever), by Jonathan Conte, a comic book for adults called, Firmin, by Colin Montet, which is a contemporary version of the story of the prodigal son and a short novel, Lettres à ma fille (Letters to My Daughter), by Gilles Geiser.

Projects in 2025

We are very grateful that for the past 5 years, God has allowed our impact in sales and distribution to triple. Now we want to see this impact grow in French-speaking Africa using our digital resources and to continue to listen to testimonies of transformed lives.

Prayer requests

1. Pray for the impact of our ministry in Africa.

2. Pray that all these distributed books will be read and bear fruit in the lives of the readers for the glory of God.

La Bible Pour Tous (The Bible for everyone)

Location: Toulon in the South of France and on the Internet

Represented by Emmanuel Brejon

Current Context

We offer the Bible (New Testament and Psalms), for free, to every French person who doesn’t already have one. There could be many barriers that keep people from owning a Bible: maybe they won’t go to a bookstore out of shame or fear of buying a Bible in public, others are intimidated by the choices available of different translations, or fear buying a “false” Bible like that of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, or perhaps simply can’t spend money on one. Whatever the reason, our goal is to make it simple to procure a Bible. We have created an easy-to-use platform, where ordering is simple, and there is only one type of Bible available, which is free of charge.

Our organization is still rather new, but 2 years ago we launched our first project, “Holy Spirit Generation.” This multimedia booklet printed on paper with accompanying videos accessed using a QR code offered an introductory teaching about the Christian faith, emphasizing a personal experience with God through the Holy Spirit. Twenty testimonies of young people who were touched by the Lord were accessed through the video. We distributed 65,000 booklets and received very positive feedback, including testimonies from young Muslims who were very struck by them. Pastoral leaders in Catholic schools found that the content in these booklets was presented in a clear and relevant manner and was a valuable resource to use when they evangelized to the youth.

This is what we’re all about! Everyone must personally encounter God, experience the Holy Spirit, and have their body, soul, and spirit regenerated through baptism. We ourselves have all returned to God through the experience of His grace, without which it is impossible to follow Him.

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

Our main project is to offer a secure and trustworthy platform for people to use to receive free paper Bibles. As we have recently launched this site, specific results are not yet available, but in the first half of 2025 we’ll be launching online advertising to attract a wider audience. We’ve also just created a Blog on the site, to further spiritually nourish people. Finally, we’re developing a copy of the Gospel of Luke specifically designed for 11-18 year olds (middle and high schoolers in France). We will partner with Catholic schools at first, reaching 1.2 million youth annually and then focus more widely on the general public. We also secured sponsorship and began planning a large-scale annual event for teenagers in 2026.

Projects in 2025

We believe God will touch many young people in France, raising up leaders who can connect with their peers. We trust God will continue to inspire us with impactful youth projects, used widely, especially in Catholic education. We believe our annual event, launching in 2026, will have a lasting impact on many young lives. Ultimately, we want to support the broader spiritual awakening that has been growing since the Covid pandemic in France!

Prayer requests

1. Pray that every person on a spiritual quest, in particular the young, will come across our content, want to read the Bible and move forward with God toward regeneration.

2. Pray that the institutional elements of the Catholic church do not hinder projects inspired by the Spirit of God which may powerfully impact millions of people.

Atelier Auderset – Sharing the Gospel through popular art

Location: Saint-Imier, in French-speaking Switzerland

Represented by Alain Auderset and Christine Gilliand

Current Context

I’m a French comic book writer who also writes testimonial books about my relationship with God. Many people who read my books either return to God after abandoning Him, or give their lives to Christ for the first time. My books are aimed at French-speaking youth and can be found in Christian bookshops in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec and Africa. Recently my books have been translated into Burmese and are contributing to a revival there! My team consists of 13 artists and administrators. My focus is to reach the culturally-minded French who no longer attend church, using high-quality art that they can appreciate. I try to distribute my books in every bookstore, be it Christian or secular, but it is difficult to gain exposure. Luckily I have been able to give my testimony several times on French national television, and I’ve won prizes at Comic d’Europe, a major European comics festival!

Actions taken and results achieved in 2024

In 2024 we released a high-quality board game that will be distributed in all game stores (and there are a lot of them in France!). This game encourages reflection on life’s meaning, free will, and offers a new perspective on God for French people who feel alone.

Last December, at the launch event for the board game, a couple with no Christian background approached me to say they had come to faith simply by finding my videos on YouTube. A whole family also came to thank me: following a bad experience, they had abandoned the faith, but after reading my book, Rendez-vous dans la forêt (Meeting in the Forest), they are active Christians again.

Projects in 2025

We’re working on a series of cartoons with the powerful message of the Gospel. I will continue to regularly share testimonies aimed at non-Christians on YouTube. On average, I perform four shows a month in churches and performance halls, using an electric guitar and large illustrations to speak of God’s love. I used to do stand-up comedy, but currently, I mainly narrate a tale called “The Legend of Mi,” which explains why God allows suffering.

Prayer requests

1. Pray for the workshop, which has major financial challenges as we mainly run on donations.

2. Pray for the cartoon project, which represents the greatest financial investment. We need regeneration, an upgrade and more business.

3. Pray for investors, influential contacts and associates with business experience.

May 18 – Regeneration!

Regeneration means rebirth, and as we are born again in Christ, may the heart of France be renewed and return to its first love.

Thank you for joining us and the thousands of intercessors around the world in prayer during the campaign over these past three weeks. Together we have raised our voices for the spiritual regeneration of France!

Certain ministries may have resonated with you more strongly than others. Some are current partners of Impact France, while others have yet to join. Should you feel led to explore them further, please visit their respective pages on our website: https://impactfrance.org/min-partners/

As you know, our mission is to mobilize prayer for our French partners and facilitate donations for their work. Combined with faithful prayer, each donation amplifies the impact of the work carried out in the field by our ministry partners. Giving ignites our prayers, linking generosity of heart with practical action.

As it was not possible to feature all our partners in this guide, Impact France will continue to offer prayer themes throughout the year on our https://prayforfrance.org/ page, and to highlight the work of as many of them as possible on our social networks and in our newsletters.

If you wish to continue supporting the initiatives of our brothers and sisters working to advance God’s Kingdom in France, stay tuned!

Fraternally in Christ.
