Agape Hub Dinard
Today we want to draw your attention to a new type of initiative that is taking place in France. It’s not a church, it’s not a Christian café, it’s an art gallery!
The experiment began in Paris with Agapé Hub. If you follow our newsletter, you may have seen this video and even prayed for them during our PFF campaign in 2022. The concept is simple: raise existential questions in the heart of French people through art exhibitions, concerts, and other cultural events.
At the beginning of 2025, the project leaders decided to repeat this model in Brittany, in northwestern France, in the historically artistic town of Dinard. In fact, Dinard has 25 art galleries but no evangelical church!
The first exhibition began on October 1, and the inauguration took place on October 18 with more than 200 people in attendance, including four elected officials and directors from the town hall! New partnerships are beginning with a local radio station and other partners. Agapé Hub is also now home to the chaplaincy for artists, Agapé Art.
So let us pray for this wonderful adventure!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- May God return to the churches abandoned by the Christian faith and fill them once again with His presence in Brittany!
- May the Holy Spirit touch hearts hardened like stone through the arts and music to glorify Him.
- May people who are lonely in regions such as Brittany be brought together in arts and culture projects.
- May this project find the necessary funding to fulfill the vision that God has inspired to restore His holy spaces for His purposes!
