Radio Stations

Today we want to bring your attention to the Christian radio stations we support with Impact France, from the biggest, Phare FM, broadcasting all over France; to the smallest, Radio Harmonie Cornouailles, based in a small town in Brittany; to the most adventurous, Médias Ebene, who has been training and supporting Christian radio stations in Africa for years! 

Radio may seem outdated but in many regions of Africa, between conflicts and poverty, radio is the best way to reach everyone with the Gospel. The training and equipping of the Christian radio stations take a holistic approach (“radio intégrale”) that not only considers the spiritual needs of the listeners but also includes educational content for kids and adults, and promotes peace between communities. 

Since 2019, Médias Ebene has implemented eight training conferences for more than 400 radio leaders and technicians from about 200 Christian media outlets. They facilitated cross-border collaborations and helped create the Francophone African Christian Media Forum (FOMECAF) which now has representatives in more than 20 countries, including South Africa, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Niger, Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Chad, Togo, England, Canada, the United States, France, and Switzerland. 

So as summer begins and Médias Ebene is about to implement more training in Africa, would you please join us in praying for them?

PRAYER REQUESTS: 

• Please Lord, protect the actions of Médias Ebene and of all of Your sons and daughters working on the African continent to bring Your Word to the most vulnerable communities. 
• We pray for the courageous African Christian radio station leaders who risk their lives to convey the message of the Gospel. Protect them and their families from any harm and make them see with their own eyes how You use their efforts to powerfully transform the communities that You, God, entrusted to them through the airwaves. 
• We pray for all the people that You will reach through the radio in France too. Please, our Lord, even in the middle of distractions, open their ears to You. Create that space for a personal encounter with You! 
• Make Your voice be heard with power through the radio in all the French-speaking world and beyond this summer, and may many hearts be reached for Jesus!
