Unity in the French Church

This year the annual Centre Évangélique 2026 took place on April 15 and 16, with the theme, “One Church: Together with our Differences.” It brought together 135 organizations and groups, representing the diversity of evangelical Protestantism centered on Jesus Christ, to celebrate our unity, encourage one another, and highlight the differences that make up the Church: generational, cultural, geographic, social, spiritual, denominational, and more.

As France struggles with division and social unrest, Centre Évangélique gave testimony of hope and brotherhood between churches and ministries that seek peace, reconciliation, and forgiveness, and have a common hope: Jesus!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • May the work of our Father and the seeds He planted in our hearts during this gathering flourish the rest of the year and beyond.
  • May the Church in France be more inclusive of our diaspora churches and inspire more cohesion within French society.
  • May the relationships strengthened or created during this event prosper and enable new projects born in the heart of God to come to life.
  • May the French church take her place in the evangelical panorama in Europe and in the rest of the world, to shine the love of Christ for the nations.
