Now that the school year has already begun, a small nonprofit organization in Paris, “Porteurs d’Espoir”, is working tirelessly to help low-income youth meet their school supply needs. Their name in English is “Hope Bearers.”

Every year, they organize an event to distribute school kits to about 100 children and their low-income families. Since their founding in 2004, they have distributed 11,070 back-to-school kits! Beyond financial support, their goal is to share a message of hope with each child, rooted in Christian values. 

The association also provides food assistance monthly to about 50 families in need, as well as academic support to young people—many of whom come from families where the parents are migrants and cannot help them with their evening homework. 

During their activities, they encounter many young people living in situations of human trafficking. This led them to start organizing outings to meet victims of human trafficking. Even more, they are now planning to open a shelter to help the victims. 

So let’s pray for their mission and work for the little children and the most vulnerable!  

PRAYER REQUESTS: 

• Pray that the work that God started in the hearts of the children and families through Faith Bearers will grow stronger by discipleship activities and that many will know Christ! 
• Pray for wisdom in the creation of their new initiatives against human trafficking and for the creation of the shelter.  
• Pray that the association will be strengthened with more volunteers, team members, financial resources, and collaboration opportunities to support their work, including their new initiatives.
