Étincelle School
Étincelle school (Spark School) opened its doors in 2015 to offer a school accessible to all, where students thrive and learn enthusiastically in a caring environment that respects diversity. It complies with the requirements of the French National Education system, complemented by a personalized approach to children and the transmission of Christian values.
Having begun as a single class of six pupils, then a nursery class combined with before- and after-school care programs, the school now has 22 pupils, two teachers and a teachers’ aid to look after them.
Étincelle’s desire is to be a place of formation where children discover their identity and their calling into the mission of impacting society. It is also an “oasis” where many children come to find confidence, self-esteem, and a taste for learning and peaceful relationships.
PRAISES:
- First and foremost, we thank God for His faithfulness and goodness towards our school. Throughout this year, we have seen His hand at work, guiding us. Our teaching team has been enriched by the arrival of a new kindergarten teacher. We are grateful for her commitment and for the way she has settled in so smoothly. Her integration has been marked by a wonderful spirit of collaboration and unity.
- This year, we are welcoming 22 children divided into two classes: kindergarten and elementary. We are delighted to see the children grow and progress day by day. The relationships within the classrooms are peaceful and respectful.
- The Board of Directors continues its work on the sustainable growth of the school. Work is underway to strengthen our financial strategies. At the same time, discussions are taking place regarding future development prospects. Our desire is to ensure the stability and continuity of the school.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Let us pray for a powerful and lasting impact on the life of each child. May our students experience peaceful relationships with one another, embodying the love of Jesus.
- Let us ask God to continue to grow and strengthen the teaching staff. Let us pray that each teacher will be encouraged and supported in their mission.
- Let us entrust the Board of Directors to the Lord in all its strategic decisions.
- Finally, let us support the project to create a new classroom, both in terms of facilities and teacher recruitment.
