Grain de Blé

Grain de Blé was initially created by a wealthy Swiss Christian man in the aftermath of World War II who wanted to welcome Christian children from devastated European countries to Switzerland for time at a Christian camp to rest from their difficult situations and just be children for a few days. The association then grew and became Grain of Wheat International. Its French branch, Grain de Blé, was founded in 1965.

Since then, it has been supporting churches and associations in their ministry to children and young people, based on one principle: “every child matters.” They offer several types of tools such as camps, festivals, children’s clubs, neighborhood activities, and training for churches related to these same tools.

Recently, they have begun to develop an artistic component with the creation of shows and worship activities for children in partnership with Christian professionals. They are developing a family musical show that can be used in both churches and schools. It’s written specifically for a non-Christian audience and deals with the theme of love. With this new project, they hope to encourage the involvement of Christian performers in this modern, high-quality artistic project and create a new way for children to express themselves and share the Gospel in creative ways!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • May Grain de Blé gain more and more visibility in France, and may new churches join their work to train more and more church leaders and staff.
  • May God call more young people to serve Christ in youth ministry.
  • May He provide for the association, so they can achieve stable and sustainable operations in terms of human and financial resources.
  • May all French churches become fully convinced about investing time and resources in their youth, knowing that in God’s heart, every child matters!
  • May everything fall into place for the family musical show, including the recordings, rehearsals, and promotion so that they can premier the show as planned in December 2026.
